Marcia started her business, Libby's Best Dog Bakery when she grew tired of working for others and began dreaming of becoming an entrepreneur.

She knew she wanted to create special dog treats that were fresh and organic for her dog Libby, who was diabetic.  She didn't want to cheat Libbie of her beloved treats, but knew she had to watch what she fed her.

After experimentation with different recipes, she began production.  Word spread and people wanted to buy them.  With the help of her daughter, Sara, they soon came up with a business plan and packaging for the treats, and the business was born.
