"Some people say they are dumpster divas,
but as you can see, I really am!"

My mother was an antiques dealer so as well as growing up in a home filled with interesting and unusual things, I was in on the "hunt" from an early age. When my mom's shop, The White Elephant, became too full to handle all the treasures people brought for her to buy or consign, she started conducting estate sales or moving sales and the business,White Elephant Sales, was born. She was the first in the Walla Walla Valley of Washington State to offer such a service. I started helping her when I was a teen, we became partners some years later, and for the last 15 years, it has been my own endeavor.
After displaying my goods in an antique mall for 14 years, I purchased an old Victorian home in Walla Walla and converted it into my antique shop, Diettrich House Antiques. It's filled to the brim with everything I like, which is EVERYTHING. Quilts, glassware, china, kitchenware, fine and primitive furniture, jewelry, linens, the fine, the fun, the funky and the fabulous!
My other passion is travel and I do it often, always with an empty suitcase to bring home more "stuff". England is my favorite and I have made lots of great and lasting friends during my travels over the years. Luckily for me, my long-suffering husband cheerfully puts up with all of the chaos. ~Connie
