To tell you a little about myself the two words that would sum me up would be LOVE COUNTRY. That includes country living, country music, country collectibles.
Even though I basically grew up in Tacoma, Washinton, I spent the majority of my adult life in Minnesota (32 years). After my husband and I retired, we decided to return to the Evergreen State and live in the mountains, hence our move to 24 acres in Chewelah, Washington 3 years ago.
The majority of my personal collection came from Minnesota farm auctions. We attended an auction almost every weekend in the summer for the past ten years or so when we lived there.
My most prized collection is my Chef Salt & Peppys. I have close to 300 total. This collection started with two pairs. At first I thought they were the ugliest things, but as I added to them over the years they began to grow on me. They remind me of my kitchen choir. I plan on bringing some of them with me to the next Farm Chicks show.
My booth features an assortment of goods which are primarily kitchen items from the 1950’s, including enamelware, salt & pepper shakers, aprons, utensils, linens, and so much more.
