Liz and Melissa are a mother/daughter team.  Liz definitely considers herself a " Farm Chick" having grown up on an orchard in three chicken coops that had been converted into a house for her family of ten. Growing up with little meant making her own items if she wanted them. She learned to sew at a young age and began making her own clothing, bedding, curtains and other items to make the chicken coop a home.  Melissa was raised with this same philosophy, making what she could with what they had, reusing whenever possible.

Having recently moved to Northern Idaho, they decided to pursue their dream of running a business that was made by their own hands.  And just like that, their business, Oh Sew Chic was born.
