Two Women is a business partnership between mother and daughter, Dianna and Fielding Chelf, and is the antiques sales portion of their retail shop, Spangle Heights Mercantile. The shop is located in a converted barn, on 10 acres of land, just south of Spokane, Washington, on the outskirts of the beautiful Palouse. The shop features a wide selection of quality antique and vintage items, live herbs and flowers, work of local artisans, Dianna's original folk art and Fielding's jewelry business, Zumara Jewelry Designs.
Dianna is an accomplished artist in the field of folk art, and creates high-end original pieces, in the genre of Scherenschnitte, otherwise known as the Pennsylvania Dutch folk art of paper cutting. Her paper cuttings are water colored and framed in handmade, grain painted frames. She also grain paints shaker style boxes and does several local and national art shows each year. She lives in Spangle, Washington with her husband, Jim and their many pets in a Victorian farm house on the property next to the shop.
Fielding's business, Zumara Jewelry Designs, specializes in creating unique one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art made from semi-precious gemstones and sterling silver, as well as pieces which incorporate the use of vintage and antique items. Fielding lives in Spokane with her son, Amril, and their dogs and cat. |
