Debi & Bob Kennedy have been creating home furnishings and decorative accessories from reclaimed, restyled, refurbished, and re-imagined junk for the past 25 years. They've been doing it out of a love of the process – and necessity!  Now they bring their design aesthetic out of their home and to the public. Kennedykennedy Design is their company, and their collections of seasonally inspired products are known as  'retreat'.

Each season, unique one-of-a-kind creations, finds, and treasures are combined into a theme that embodies memories of great vacation spots they have visited and lived in: the beach, the mountains, the desert, even grandma's garden! Walking into their displays is akin to entering another time and place…evoking memories and connecting you with a past where time slowed and days were simpler.

The mood they create embodies their tagline: 'retreat….where the livin' is easy'

The combination of Bob's 25 years as a contractor and furniture builder and Deb's thirty-plus years as a retail store & display designer, speaker, & writer make for an abundance of creativity and skill. Over 28 years of marriage makes for a pleasant working partnership, as well!  With their four children grown, they are now focusing on traveling the West to discover treasures to refurbish and feature in their 'retreat' seasonal collections.
