I am a Botanist, wife, mother, and an avid recycler.  I wanted to start a business that would enhance my spirit and limit my impact on the environment.

I have always loved and collected old blue canning jars and one evening, broke three in one sitting.  I took my broken shards and put them on a shelf for later use.  What and how to use these glass shards were both unknown to me at the time.

One year later, I decided to throw the shards in a rock tumbler.  I still hadn’t decided what to do with them but this was progress. What came out of the tumbler was beautiful glass and a beautiful idea.  I could work from my home and make beautiful earrings from recycled and broken glass.  Friends and family loved them and Tumbled Trinkets was born. All the things that were important to me fell into place and it all came together from old broken jars.  ~Darcie
