Dill Dip with a twist
This is one of our favorite recipes, adapted from the pages of one of our all-time favorite cookbooks, Gold'n Delicious (see below for more information).
1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp green onions, chopped
1 tsp dried parsley
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
salt to taste
Tie on your apron. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and chill for about an hour. Serve as an appetizer with fresh veggies, crackers, or baguette slices.
Tips:
This dip also makes an amazing sandwich. Slather a bit on some good crusty french bread and top with a tomato slice.
