For me, the beginning to all fashion fun is accessories. Hats, shoes, jewelry and purses are a girl's best friend. Being a second generation Farm Chick, I’ve collected all of these in vintage form. My largest collection is also my true passion – vintage bags! I’ve been collecting for as long as I can remember, and believe that the easiest way to spice up an outfit is with a one-of-a-kind vintage bag. ~Kate

TIP:

It’s said condition is everything when collecting vintage bags, but I say that’s wrong! Buy the bag with the snag, stain, or rip. This is where style comes in – Place a fun broach over a stain or snag, add a scarf to hide a rip. Voila! In a snap, you’ve added your own flair and saved a wonderful vintage bag from never being loved again. There’s nothing more Farm Chicky than that!
