Toby was out visiting her favorite vintage shops in Spokane and perusing the racks of vintage clothing at Boulevard Mercantile when she happened upon this darling top. The hand embroidered names were so charming she knew she had to have it! Today I’m sharing the first in my show-and-tell themed series of posts, “What You Found” which features people and their favorite vintage finds.
Toby says she instantly fell in love with names such Mildred, Elsie, Tilly, Rose, Frieda, Ella and how they were all individually embroidered in place. And isn’t it her outfit perfectly darling and complete with her vintage linen high waisted pants?

The sale became wildly popular and began attracting visitors from across the country and recognition in national magazines. Today The Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair fills the Spokane County Fairgrounds and features hundreds of creatively and carefully curated spaces packed with vintage and handmade goods. Many describe it as a bucket list event, magical, inspirational, and the best event of its kind in the USA. I describe it as the best weekend of the year!
