Along with all the sweetness of The Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair are the darling shoppers. I love the colorfulness and happy spirit of everyone waiting in line before the opening so very much. I Come along with me as we visit with the shoppers in line before opening.

These cousins brought their dolls and their moms helped with some doll pampering while waiting in line. Completely the cutest moment.

Farm Chicks Squad!

Multi-generations lining up before the opening. Farm Chicks has a long history of multi-generations of ladies enjoying the fair together, but in recent years we’ve seen the men are joining in on the fun now too. It is incredibly meaningful for me to see families enjoying Farm Chicks together, just like my family does.

The dresses, cardis, vintage floral embellishments, and bunting embellished cart are THE BEST.

We’re all about the floral patterns. Love love love.

Many of my family members gather together each year to help me out with the show. My nephew Kirkos has grown into being such a great helper!

Families are forever.

Darling summery shopper.

A snap of my nephew Miles just before the doors opened. He is just beginning to learn the ropes – this year he helped my son Lucas as photographer’s assistant, helped with our line construction, and other interning duties.

Sidewalk chalk fun.

Happy energy!

Many early birds bring their lawn chairs and reading materials for the wait before the opening. Aren’t her accessories so fun?

IT'S ME, SERENA!

In 2002, I was dreaming of creating a fun and happy little event to sell my vintage and handmade goods. In 2002, I held my first event in my neighbor's barn along with a handful of friends. The sale became wildly popular and began attracting visitors from across the country and recognition in national magazines. Today The Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair fills the Spokane County Fairgrounds and features hundreds of creatively and carefully curated spaces packed with vintage and handmade goods. Many describe it as a bucket list event, magical, inspirational, and the best event of its kind in the USA. I describe it as the best weekend of the year!
